Trapper John's Cabin
Trapper John's Cabin is a historic log cabin on a mini-homestead near the Susitna River - just a short walk to "Beautiful Downtown Talkeetna" and the Talkeetna Roadhouse.

The cabin is decorated with trapping memorabilia, boasts one of Talkeetna's last examples of Blazo Can roof construction and sleeps four guests on cozy flannel sheets. There is a full kitchen, electricity, and a TV with VCR/DVD. Although there is a still useable and much photographed "5-Star Outhouse", Trapper John's now has an indoor bathroom with tub, sink and toilet.

Little Cabin in the Back
This is our on-site cabin right behind the main log building, the Talkeetna Roadhouse. The "Little Cabin in the Back" can sleep a total of 5 guests on a queen-size bed, a single bed, and two full mattresses in the sleeping loft. The cabin offers a gas fireplace, small microwave, a small refrigerator that is big enough to fit a 6-pack, and a VCR-TV so you can enjoy a video from our small library of movies. The bathroom is in the main building, just "5 steps out the back door".

The Museum Apartment
This is our Museum Apartment, located at the end of the block behind our Main Street location. The Museum Apartment is located on the top floor of the Little Red Schoolhouse. The Apartment has its own private entrance and can sleep a total of 5 guests on a queen-size bed in it's own private room, a single bed and a full size futon couch in the living room. The kitchen has a fridge, gas stove/oven, microwave and coffee maker. Coffee/tea/cocoa and condiments are provided. The Apartment has a full bathroom with sink, toilet, shower and tub. Guests of the Museum Apartment are also provided with passes to the Talkeetna Historical Society's museum, located on the main floor of the building.
