Upstairs Suite

This is the entire second floor above the main dining room in the original 1917 log building.  It sleeps up to 6.

If you were here before the pandemic you may have stayed in one of the three upstairs rooms, which were rented independently.   Now the entire floor is rented as one space called the Upstairs Suite and is perfect for larger families or small groups traveling together.    The interior walls are a bit thin and the floors creak in a truly authentic historic roadhouse way.   There is a hot beverage service outside the room doors so you may make coffee, tea or hot chocolate any time.  There is one bathroom for the Suite and it has a deep tub with shower, sink and toilet.  All rooms and landing have ceiling fans for the warmest summer days.  All rooms have reading lights at the beds.
Room 3

This room is on the north west corner of the building and overlooks Main Street.  The room has a full bed and a single bed and a writing desk.

Room 4

This room is on the north east corner of the building and overlooks Main Street.  The room has a queen size futon couch, a wicker armchair and a TV that is hooked only to a vintage VCR –  and VHS tapes.  Sometimes it’s nice to curl up with a good book or movie on the rainy or cloudy days.  The old log walls are exposed and guests can still see the shadows of past walls and shelves.

Room 5

This room is on the south east corner of the building and gets great afternoon sun, making it a naturally warm room. The room has a queen bed a single bed and a wardrobe. An old window opening has been turned into a book shelf and – strangely – guests have been leaving small river rocks and pebbles from the beach at the end of Main Street on the shelves, sometimes stacked precariously atop one another in mini cairns.
